2590 Gallipoli Royal Canadian Army Cadets escort Legion at Remembrance Day Ceremonies.

This is the third year that members of the 2590 Gallopili Royal Canadian Army Cadets in Corner Brook have taken time out of their busy schedules to have the privilege of attending the Sacred Heart Elementary and St. Gerard’s Elementary schools Remembrance Day  ceremonies to escort members of Branch 13 Royal Canadian Legion members as their color party for the events.

Warrant Officer Emily McLeod (Canadian Flag) and Sergeant Andrew Greene (Newfoundland Flag) who both have just attended their third year attending these ceremonies.  When asked “What is the reason you enjoy attending these ceremonies?”  Sgt. Greene replied “To keep the memory of the past, present and future of our military personal, who have risked and will risk their lives to make our country free and keep it free for future generations to come.”

McLeod and Greene have just competed these schools for this year and are looking forward to next year already.
