RNC CORNER BROOK 24 HOUR MEDIA REPORT – SEPTEMBER 15

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook received 25 calls for service for the 24 hour period ending on September 15, 2014 at 4 a.m.
September 14, 2014 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary
(RNC) is investigating a two vehicle collision that occurred on September 14, 2014.
On September 14, 2014 at approximately 12:35 p.m. RNC Patrol Services, with the
assistance from the Corner Brook Fire Department and Western Health paramedics,
responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Confederation Drive and
Corner Brook Plaza. Both vehicles sustained extensive damages. One of the drivers, a
57 year old male, was conveyed to hospital via ambulance with undetermined injuries.
The second driver involved in the collision, a 17 year old female, attended the hospital
for what is believed to be minor injuries.
A RNC Collision Analyst and the RNC Forensic Identification Unit remained at the
collision scene throughout the afternoon.
The RNC is continuing to investigate the collision. Anyone that may have information in
relation to this incident, or may be a witness, is asked to contact the RNC at 637-4100.
