Armed Robbery at Humber Road Convenience Store

13151541_894006140707940_7710510643235315712_nThe Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is actively pursuing a man they say is responsible for an armed robbery at a convenience store on Corner Brook’s east side Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 4:20 p.m., the RNC responded to Mathews Minimart and Laudromat on Humber Road in Corner Brook following a report that a lone male entered the store brandishing a weapon.

The suspect fled the store with a small quantity of beer and cigarettes. There were no injuries as a result of the robbery.

Police say the suspect, shown in the attached photo, is approximately five feet, five inches tall, 150 pounds, and has dark hair. At the time of the offence, he was wearing a blue hoodie.
