Male Arrested in Relation to Corner Brook Break and Enter

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Criminal Investigation Division has made an arrest in its investigation into a residential break and enter that occurred on Pleasant Street in Corner Brook, NL.

On Monday, June 14, 2015 at approximately 3:20 a.m. RNC Patrol Services and the Forensics Identification Section responded to a complaint of break and enter at a residence on Pleasant Street on the west side of the city.

As a result of the investigation, officers have arrested 32 year old Gregory McCARTHY of Corner Brook and charged him with Break and Enter, Assault with a Weapon, Disguise with Intent and Failing to Comply with Court Orders. The accused appeared in Provincial Court today and was held to appear for a bail hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.
