Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Patrol Services responded to 29 calls for service during the 24 hr period ending at 4:00 am today.




On November 7, 2014 RNC Patrol Services received a complaint of mischief. Sometime overnight, unknown persons smashed a vehicle windshield while the vehicle was parked on Valley Road. There was no theft during the incident as no entry had been gained.

 On November 7, 2014 at approximately 4:45 p.m. RNC Patrol Services, with the assistance from the Corner Brook Fire Department and Western Health Paramedics,  responded to a three vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Valley Road and O’ Connell Drive. All three vehicles sustained extensive damages and one of the drivers involved, a 20 year male, was conveyed to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for what is believed to be minor, non-life threatening injuries. Matter remains under investigation.

 On November 7, 2014 at approximately 12:05 p.m. a RNC Patrol Vehicle was driving in the Mount Bernard Avenue area when a vehicle backed up and collided into the police unit. Both vehicles sustained minor damages. There were no injuries reported. The driver of the reversing vehicle was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for Backing While Unsafe to Do So.

On November 7, 2014 at 5:25 p.m. RNC Patrol Services, with the assistance of the RNC Police Dog Services, responded to a disturbance inside a home on West Valley Road. As a result of an investigation, a 12 year old female was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon, Assault and Uttering Threats. She has been held in custody and will appear in WASH Court on Saturday Morning.

  As a result of a complaint filed on November 01st, 2014, a 39 yr old male resident of Corner Brook was arrested for Breach of a Court Order. He is being held in police custody for court.
