RNC CORNER BROOK 24 HOUR MEDIA REPORT – OCTOBER 25

rncmediareeaseThe Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook received 36 calls for service for the 24 hour period ending on October 25, 2014 at 5 a.m.

 Noteworthy calls for service:

On October 25, 2014 at approximately 3:10 a.m. RNC Patrol Services located a disturbance in progress between two males on Broadway. During the incident,  a 20 year old male resident of Corner Brook assaulted a police officer. The male was arrested without incident and held for WASH court. He will appear in court later today. The police officer was not injured from the incident.

On October 25, 2014 at approximately 4:25 a.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to a disturbance inside a hotel in the Confederation Drive area of Corner Brook. As a result of an investigation, a 35 year old female resident of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL was arrested and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm against a 35 year old male and one count of breach of a Peace Bond Recognizance. She will attend WASH court later in the day. The male and female were known to each other. The male sustained minor injuries.
