RNC CORNER BROOK 24 HOUR REPORT – OCT , 2014

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook received 37 calls for service for the 24 hour period ending on October 1, 2014 at 4 a.m.
On September 30, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. RNC Patrol Services received a complaint of breaching a court order. It was alleged that a male was to have no contact with a female. Within a short period of time, the male suspect was located on the Regent Square parking lot. Upon observing the police, the accused fled the police on foot. Police were able to arrest the accused without incident in the parking lot of Shopper’s Drug Mart on Main Street, Corner Brook. The accused faces charges of Breach a Recognizance and Breach of Probation. He remains in custody and will appear in Provincial Court, Corner Brook sometime today.
