RNC Lay Charges on 21 year old for Illegal Dumping.

(CORNER BROOK, NL) – October 2, 2014 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region has charged a 21 year old male under the Environmental Protection Act as a result of an investigation into illegal dumping.
On Wednesday, October 1, 2014 officers from the City of Corner Brook Municipal Police provided information to the RNC in relation to personal and household items found in the Lady Slipper Road area located west of Corner Brook on the TCH. As a result of the investigation, a 21 year old Massey Drive resident was charged under Section 16 of the Environmental Protection Act. He will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
The RNC will continue to work with the City of Corner Brook to prevent illegal dumping.
