RNC Make Arrest in Break and Enter Investigations

(ST. JOHN’S, NL) September 28, 2014 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC)
Criminal Investigation Division has arrested and charged a twenty-five year old male in
relation to a series of break and entries in the west end of St. John’s, NL.
On Saturday, September 13, 2014 at approximately 1:20 am RNC officers responded to
the area of Alderberry Lane for a call of break and enter and robbery.
On Saturday, September 20, 2014 at approximately 3:20 am RNC officers responded to
the area of Empire Avenue for a call of break and enter in progress.
On Monday, September 22, 2014 at approximately 10:30 pm RNC officers responded to
the area of Carlow Place for a call of break and enter and robbery.
The RNC Criminal Investigation Division have now arrested and charged a twenty-five
year old male with three counts of break and enter, two counts of robbery, two counts of
forcible confinement, three counts of assault with a weapon, three counts of disguise
with intent, three counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, uttering
threats, pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, possession of
ammunition while prohibited, and breaches of court order. The accused has been held to
appear in Provincial Court in the morning.
The RNC Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to investigate these incidents and
is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone who has information that would
