RNC Report (May 4, 2015)

At 2:40 p.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to a complaint of mischief at a residence on West Valley Road. It was reported that a 15 year old male had caused damaged to a house on that street. As a result of an investigation, the 15 year old male was arrested and charged with Mischief to Property, Three counts of Breach of a Justice Undertaking and Breach of Probation. The youth remains in custody and will appear in Youth Court in Corner Brook on May 5.
At 9:55 p.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to a disturbance complaint at a residence on Robertson’s Road. It was reported that a female was attempting to gain entry into a home. As a result of an investigation, a 22 year old female resident of Corner Brook was charged with Mischief to Property. She was provided a court date for June 2015.
At 7:40 a.m. RNC Patrol Services received a report of theft of gas. It was reported that sometime overnight, some gas was syphoned from a parked vehicle in the area of Maple Valley Road.
At 2:05 p.m. RNC Patrol Services received a theft complaint from a business on Main Street. It was reported that an employee observed a male stealing merchandise from the business. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival. Matter remains under investigation.
At 4:10 p.m. RNC Patrol Services received an assault complaint in the Brookfield Avenue area. It was reported that a female has assaulted another female. Both were known to each other. There were no injuries reported during this incident. The matter remains under investigation.
On May 4, 2015 RNC Patrol Services received a complaint of Fraud. It was reported that a person had lost their credit card on May 2, 2015 and upon reporting the card missing, it was discovered that there were fraudulent transactions conducted with the credit card. Matter remains under investigation.
