St. Andrew’s Dinner and Dance – November 28

The Scottish Heritage Society will be holding its annual St Andrew’s Dinner and Dance at Bennett Hall, West Street on Friday, November 28th. Doors will open at 6.30pm.

A roast turkey and dessert dinner will be served at 7pm. The dinner will be followed by Scottish country and contemporary dancing. All are welcome.

UCW Christmas Bazaar – November 29

Hosted by First United Church Women. Tickets available at the door or through UCW members. Wheelchair accessible. Starts at 2:30 at the First United Church, 19 Park Street.

The Heart of Christmas Art Exhibition and Sale – November 29

LAWN’S annual Christmas exhibition and sale opens November 24 and will run throughout the holiday season until January 5. Featuring the work of over 30 of Western Newfoundland’s visual artists, this is a great opportunity to find a locally made, one-of-a-kind gift for the art lover in your life.

The Heart of Christmas Art Exhibition & Sale will be held in the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre Lobby throughout the holidays and everyone is invited to the show’s opening reception:

· Refreshments will be served


TNL – A Christmas Carol – November 28-30

Theatre Newfoundland Labrador kick starts the holidays with a staging of that seasonal favourite: A Christmas Carol. Starts at 8:00pm at the Corner Brook Arts & Culture Centre. A Christmas Carol is TNL”s community production under the direction of Sarah McDonald and musical direction of Allison Crowe.


Marble Mountain Pre-Season Bash – November 29

It’s that time of year again – time to get stoked for snow!

Get your best (or worst!) toques and goggles and join us for a showing of “Days of my Youth”, Matchstick Productions and Red Bull Media House Films newest shred flick.

We’ll have a free can of Red Bull waiting for you at the door, and we’re giving away prizes throughout the night from Red Bull, Marble Mountain Resort, and White Hills Ski Resort.

Red Bull Thre3Style DJ Halftraxx will be spinning for the after party.

Doors open at 8:00pm, movie starts at 8:30.

$5 for Marble Mountain and White Hills season pass holders, $10 for everyone else. 19+

Annual Kinsmen Corner Brook Santa Claus Parade – November 29

Join in the festivities of the season and come out for the Corner Brook Santa Claus Parade to kick off the holiday season!
