Corner Brook RNC Investigating Suspicious Activity Complaint

rnc logoThe Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region is currently investigating a complaint of suspicious activity in the Townsite area.

This morning at approximately 10:30 a.m. RNC Patrol Services received a report of suspicious activity on Reid Street near the intersection of Montgomerie Street. A male, described as being short and wearing a red and black winter jacket, was observed lingering in the area and exhibiting unusual behavior. The RNC was notified by neighborhood residents and a search of the area did not result in locating the individual.

The RNC are continuing to investigate this matter and wish to advise the public there are no concerns for public safety at this time. Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact police at 637-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
