 Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Patrol Services responded to 35 calls for service during the 24 hr period ending at 4:00 am today.

 RNC Patrol Services received 5 complaints regarding theft from vehicles. It was reported that three vehicles parked in personal driveways on Station Road, one vehicle parked in a driveway on Clarence Street and one vehicle parked on a commercial parking lot on Cobb Lane were entered sometime overnight during the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 14. All vehicles were unlocked at the time and small amounts of money was stolen. During these unlawful entries, personal identification was stolen from the vehicles posing a risk of to the owners of the personal information to identity theft.  RNC continue to remind the general public, motorists and property owners to secure their belongings to reduce the incidents of these types of crimes.
