Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Patrol Services responded to 33 calls for service during the 24 hr period ending at 4:00 am today.

 At approximately 1:30 pm Patrol Services responded to a report that a female was inside Tim Horton’s, Valley Mall location screaming and yelling at customers. During the police response to this complaint it was determined that the female was intoxicated and she was bound by a court order not to consume alcohol. As a result of the police investigation a 33 yr old female resident of Corner Brook was arrested for violating a court order. She is being held in police custody until she is sober and will then be released to appear in court at a later date.

At approximately 10:40 pm, Patrol Services responded to a report of a male assaulting another male with a baseball bat and damaging a vehicle. The victim a 25 yr old male resident of Corner Brook only received minor injuries in the assault. Damage to the vehicle was minor. Investigation into this incident is continuing.
