On October 17, 2014 at approximately 7:20 p.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to a disturbance inside a home on Hillside Road. It was reported that two males inside the home were confrontational and would not leave upon the request of the homeowner. As a result of an investigation, the two males refusing to leave the leave were found to be in breach of various court orders that each suspect was on at the time. As a result, a 35 year old male resident of Corner Brook, was arrested and charged with two counts of breaching an Undertaking, one count of breach of probation and one count of breaching a Court Recognizance. The second male, a 51 year old male resident of Corner Brook, was charged and arrested for two counts of breaching an Undertaking and one count of breach of probation. Both males will appear in WASH Court on Saturday morning.
On October 17, 2014 at approximately 2:25 p.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to a complaint of theft at a commercial business in the area of Murphy Square. It was reported that a male had been observed by staff stealing merchandise from the property. As a result of an investigation, a 26 year old male resident of Stephenville, NL, was arrested and charged with Theft under $5000 and breach of probation. He will remains in custody and will appear in WASH court on Saturday morning.
