RNC Requests Public Assistance in Corner Brook Armed Robbery

rnc logoThe Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying the person responsible for an armed robbery which occurred at a licensed establishment on Broadway.

On May 11, 2015 at approximately 9:50 p.m. RNC Patrol Services, Police Dog Services and the Forensic Identification Section responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at 86’er Pub. A lone male entered the establishment armed with a knife and demanded cash from the female employee before fleeing the area on foot with an undisclosed amount.

The suspect is described as being in his 40’s, approximately 5’4” – 5’6” tall, medium build and a slender face. At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a light colored hoodie and dark sunglasses.

The RNC Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to investigate this incident and is seeking the assistance of the public.
