RNC Respond to Early Morning Collision

20150324bThe RNC Corner Brook Region is currently investigating a single vehicle collision on the Lewin Parkway.

This morning at approximately 6:45 a.m. RNC Patrol Services, with assistance from the Corner Brook Fire Department and Western Health Paramedics, attended the scene of a single vehicle collision on the Lewin Parkway near the intersection of Premier Drive. During the investigation it was determined the male driver was attempting to turn right onto the Lewin Parkway when he collided with a snow bank causing the vehicle to overturn.

The lone occupant, an 88 year old male, was conveyed to Western Memorial Regional Hospital via ambulance for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. RNC Patrol Services are continuing to investigate this incident however no
criminal charges are anticipated.
