Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Patrol Services in Corner Brook received  32 calls for service during the  24 hour period ending at 4:00 am today.


On December 2, 2014 at approximately 2:10 p.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to a complaint of theft from a commercial business on O’ Connell Drive. It was reported that a female was observed stealing merchandise from the business. She was arrested without incident. The female, a 33 year old resident of Corner Brook, remains in custody and has been charged with Theft and Breach of Undertaking. She will attend court on December 3.

 On December 2, 2014 at approximately 11:50 p.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to the downtown area on a report of a possible impaired driver. As a result of this search and investigation an 18 year old male resident male resident of Corner Brook was arrested and charged with breach of probation and breach of undertaking. He was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with driving while suspended and issued and additional suspension for registering a warning on the road side screening device. Subject was released to appear in court at a later date. The RNC would like to thank observant members of the public who report suspected impaired drivers and assist the police in keeping our roads safe.
